Context
We are looking for an Exhibition Research Assistant to work on a proposed exhibition that focuses on Britain over a fixed historic period, tracing the emergence of a number of Black British music genres and sub-genres.
This temporary role, working closely with the Exhibition Curator within the Performance, Furniture, Textiles & Fashion department, will also require collaboration with other departments across the museum and external partners.
This is a unique opportunity to play a prominent role in the delivery of a major interdisciplinary and immersive exhibition and gain experience in a large museum.
Main Purpose
Supporting the Exhibition Curator in the development and delivery of the exhibition and accompanying publication, including undertaking research and supporting the exhibition administratively.
